Dr. Dave Ta Teh Chang Has been serving as the Professor Emeritus(2020~), the Distinguished Professor(2018~2020) at Chung Yuan University, and Full Professor of Civil Engineering Department(1984~2020). He has also served as the Director of Environment Control and Hazard Mitigation Technology Center for more than 18 years, and now is CEO of this center. He also serves as the committee members(AFS60, 70, 80, 90), Transportation Research Board(TRB) for more than 25 years. He also has been invited as the Visiting Researcher and Visiting Professor at Tongji University, China Academy of Railway Sciences, Research Institute of Highway, Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute in China.

He is also involving the membership in many scholarly organizations. Dr. Chang has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of Geosythetics Engineering, pavement materials, geotechnical engineering. He has established 15 Geotechnical testing standards of CNS(Chinese National Standards). Dr. Chang published over 200 journal papers and peer reviewed conference papers, and more than 50 technical reports. He has supervised more than 110 master and doctoral students.
