Prof. Fawu Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Tongji University, and an academician of Japan Academy of Engineering. He is currently the President of International Consortium for Geological Hazards and Disaster Reduction (ICGdR), Editor-in-Chief of Geoenvironmental Disasters, Managing Executive Editor of Landslides, and Executive Editor of the international academic journal Geoenvironmental Disasters. He is also the editor-in-chief of the international academic journal Geoenvironmental Disasters and the executive editor of Landslides. He has presided over more than 10 national projects in Japan, and published more than 80 papers as the first author in top SCI journals such as Physics and Chemistry of the Earth, Landslides, and Engineering Geology.
