Dr. Fayun Liang is currently Deputy Director of the Department of Underground Architecture and Engineering, Tongji University and Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Geotechnical and Underground Engineering, Ministry of Education. Served as editorial board member of China Highway Journal, director of Foundation Branch of Architectural Society of China, Secretary General of Soft Soil Engineering Special Committee of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of China, etc. He is mainly engaged in teaching and research work in the fields of soft soil pile foundation engineering, geotechnical seismic engineering and deep water foundation
